HISTORY

Logan Construction was established in 2006 by George W. Logan, Jr., who is a lifelong Philadelphia resident and member of the Philadelphia Building and Industry Association.

George Logan began his career in the masonry trade as an apprentice under John Venziale of Liberty Ready Mix in Northeast Philadelphia. Logan worked side-by-side with Venziale, a stone mason from the “old school.” Following his masonry work, Logan joined Danella Construction of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., upgrading the city of Philadelphia’s underground utility lines. In 1989, Logan went into business for himself as a general contractor, specailizing in masonry but covering everything in between. As a self starter, he knows that your word is the most important thing you have in business. He joined Rust Construction in 1999 as a senior project manager. Logan tackled large-scale jobs like the Lincoln Woods apartment complex in Lafayette Hill, Pa., and delicate restorations of historical homes in society hill. With a proven track record as a trusted builder and competent tradesman, Logan decided in 2006 to launch Logan Construction.
